The Future of Security... Available Now!

Safeguard Security's Pulse Compression Wave Technology is based on detecting Pulse Compression Waves. The term “Pulse Compression” refers to frequencies that are lower than 20 cycles per second, which is normally below the lowest limit of human hearing.

A special waveform associated with sudden impacts or explosions, these Pulse Compression waves do occur naturally, and Pulse Compression wave technology is not new to the scientific world.

Sources of pulse compression waves in nature include volcanoes, avalanches, earthquakes, tsunamis and meteorite strikes. Animals seem able to perceive these pulse compression waves carrying through the earth - and can use them as an early warning system for escaping from such natural disasters.

These extremely low frequency waves are characterized by the ability to cover long distances while moving around obstacles, all with little or no dissipation. Think of these low pulsed waves as ripples of water created by throwing a stone in a pond. When the ripples hit a rock or obstruction, these waves simply re-form once they pass it, and continue on their journey.

In nature, one of the most remarkable examples of this low frequency pulse transmission can be found with the whales. Incredibly, whales are able to communicate with each other over thousands of miles using these self-generated pulses.
